Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later released.

Police detained a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - which police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
